One of my favorite US Dept. Of Health nightmares is the restaurant on the corner of my street. In the summer the windows are open, and every morning I walked by on my way to my early morning class there was a cat sitting on on the tables looking out the window. i know where you're coming from. i kept a notebook to write down all of the weird oddities of hong kong living. the first few months, i couldn't write fast enough to keep up with my observations. after nine months or so, i realized that i rarely ever wrote in the notebook and that i had gotten used to all of the weird things.
